Super Sedans WA will head to Kalgoorlie Speedway this Saturday night for the penultimate round of the SSWA Summer Series, brought to you by; Goldfields Crane Hire, Bridgestone Kalgoorlie, Genwest, and Great Southern Fuels
The story of the WA season so far has been can anyone stop the Higgs boys? Thus far, the simple answer is no.
Dusty and Dustin Higgs have claimed all eight feature races between them, with Dustin amassing five wins, and Dusty hot on his hammer with three.
Rob Knox has found the going tough in recent rounds, but is always a threat at the pointy end of the field, and Knox would love nothing more than to end the Higgs win streak and claim victory in the Goldfields.
Nathan Thiele has been ultra consistent throughout the season, with the only thing missing being a feature race win. Can Thiele be the one to end the Higgs dominance and claim his first win of the season?
Kyle Larson has turned his season around after a shaky start to his year. Larson hasn’t missed out on a top five finish in the last three rounds including a podium finish at Margaret River. Larson will be looking to continue his form resurgence and claim the win in Kalgoorlie.
Bryce Fisher has impressed so far in his first full season in the division, and a feature win in Kalgoorlie would be a major feather in his cap in his debut season.
Drivers will tackle three heats each to set the field for the twenty two lap John Cassin Memorial Race.
