Press Release by WA Super Sedans
The Super Sedans Western Australia Summer Series will kick off this Saturday at Mount Barker Speedway. A strong field of thirteen drivers will get their seasons underway in what will be the opening round of ten for the 2022/23 Summer Series.
Current and three time WA Champion Gary ‘Dusty’ Higgs will be one of the favourites coming off another strong season.
Higgs will be joined by son Dustin who will be campaigning his first full season for a number of years.
Local hope Rob Knox was a force to be reckoned with in his first season aboard his new Dominator Chassis, and will be hoping to pick up where he left off last season in which he took out an impressive six feature races.
Kyle Larson was a regular threat in the 2021/22 Summer Series, and he finished runner up in the points standings.
Larson will be hoping to get his season off to a strong start in order to go one better at seasons end.
Ryan Huxtable and Nathan Thiele will be hitting the track having both acquired new cars in the off season.
Huxtable will be campaigning a Sweet Chassis, whilst Thiele will be in a Dominator having tasted feature success at Mount Barker last season.
