The Marri Park-Tavern WA Super Sedan Series heads to the site of the 2024 SSA National Title Albany Speedway this weekend for round four of the 2023/24 series.
WA Champion Dustin Higgs has gone a perfect three from three thus far in the Marri Park Tavern WA Super Sedan Series and will be hoping to continue that form, as well as dialling in his car for the National Title in March.
Rob Knox will make his second start of the season with the series, and after a runner up finish at Mount Barker, Knox will be looking to go one better at Albany on Saturday night.
Knox has already tasted victory at Albany this season in a club show, and will be hoping to make it two from two in Albany this season.
Looking to thwart Dustin from another win will be his father Dusty Higgs. Dusty looked destined for a runner up finish at Bunbury, before a late race puncture ended his night early.
Dusty was victorious at Albany in the corresponding meeting last season, and will be hoping to repeat the dose on Saturday night.
Ryan Huxtable has been a mirror of consistency in the three rounds thus far with three fifth placed finishes at Manjimup, Mount Barker, and Bunbury. Huxtable will be hoping to secure his first podium finish on Saturday at Albany
Nathan Thiele will also be making his second start of the season with the series, and after a third placed finish in Mount Barker, Thiele will be hoping to move to the top step of the podium on Saturday night.
Phil Barton makes his series return on Saturday night, and will be hoping for a strong performance as he builds towards the National Title at Albany in March.
Bryce Fisher, Matt McMahon, Lukas Lampert and Glynn Mcbeath will also be in the field looking to claim their first series podium finish of the season.
Racing is set to kick off at 6pm, with drivers tackling three heat races to set the field for the feature race.
