Ardie Jonic has tonight won the Junior Competitor of the Year award, at the annual Speedway Australia awards, at the Rydges Hotel in Brisbane.
Jonic who spent part of the season out injured, amassed eighteen feature race wins, and would dearly be hoping for one more next Saturday night in the National Junior Sedan Title, at Northline Speedway Darwin.
Jonic won the Northern Territory Title and defended his Victorian Title throughout the season.
I am going to stick with Speedway and see where that takes me at the end of the year. It has taught me so much, thanks to Speedway Australia, thanks to all the volunteers as without them it would not be possible, Jonic said.
