Official Release-Sunday 19th February 2023

Western Australian Donny Davis has become the new Northern Territory Junior Sedan Champion after an outstanding performance last evening at the Arunga Park Speedway in Alice Springs.

Going through the entire program undefeated, Davis finally captured victory after coming agonisingly close to winning last years event in Darwin.

Victorian Linken Paterson would lead the early laps of the twenty five lap main event before Davis wrestled control of the event.

Despite numerous stoppages late in the race, Davis held off the challenges of Linken Paterson to claim the victory from the two Paterson siblings Linken & River with another Victorian Bree Simpson officially fourth.

Tennant Creek’s Jamie Jones would be the first Territorian across the line in fifth place with twenty cars still circulating when the chequered flag fell.

Donny Davis joins fellow Western Australian’s Josh Fraser (2015) & Riley Hanson (2021) on the honour roll for the Northern Territory Junior Sedan Title.
