The 2022 East Pilbara Tyre Service Brian Rose Memorial/RDA 100 for Street Stocks will be contested this Saturday & Sunday at the Allwest Plant Hire Ellenbrook Speedway on the northern outskirts of Perth.
Often regarded as one of the biggest SSA Street Stock events in the country, fifty-six competitors from right around Western Australia have entered for the two day event with the RDA of WA celebrating the 50th anniversary of the “RDA 100”.
This weekend’s event is also doubling as the opening round of the inaugural Odh Mechanical Tri City Series which offers a $15,000 prize pool for the three rounds.
Ten Time winner of the event Jamie Oldfield heads the nomination list with former winners Mick Hamon (2020), Hayden Norman (2019), Daniel Ameduri (2012 & 2013), Jason Oldfield (2010) and Warren Oldfield (2002 & 2003) all entered.
Current Western Australian Champion Damon Lyall will joined by fellow Carnarvon pilot Jace Kempton in Perth and loom as strong chances for victory on Sunday afternoon along with Collie’s Paul Briggs, Albany’s Peter Herbert and Derby’s Jake Hoath who recently won the Shinju Matsuri Festival Race Meeting in Broome.
Newman’s Lenny Bates will be hopeful of a strong outing after strong form recently in Darwin.
Racing begins from 11am both days with strong fields of Production Sedans and Junior Sedans also on the program.
