Ryan Alexander has won the South Australian Super Sedan Title at the Whyalla Speedway on Saturday night, after finishing on the podium in the last four South Australian Titles.
On three occasions Alexander has finished second to Dave Gartner, who finished second in the thirty five lap main event, while Mick Nicola from Victoria finished third for a fourth time.
Alexander and Kym Jury would start on the front row for the main event, however it would not be a good start for Jury, who would be sent to the rear of the field after jumping the start twice.
On the resultant third start, Alexander would be joined by Mick Nicola on the front row, but it would be Alexander who would take the lead, and would lead throughout the entire race.
Nicola and Dave Gartner would have a good battle for the minor placings, with Nicola holding second place until lap seventeen, when the duo traded second place over the ensuing seven laps, before Gartner eventually got the better of the Victorian.
Jury had made his way back through the field, moving to fourth, as Alexander lapped all but Gartner and Nicola in a dominant
performance, as Alexander won his first South Australian Title and his second State Title of his career.
Gartner just held off Nicola for second place, while Jury would finish clear of Paul Blenkiron who finished fifth, while sixth placed Jason Gantz finished two laps down on the rampant Alexander, who this weekend will contest the Victorian Title, a title he previously won in 2016.
