The Albany Speedway Club will play host to Western Australia’s best Production Sedan drivers this Saturday Night when the 6th Annual Star Auto Parts Production Sedan 5000 is conducted before a bumper school holiday crowd.
Competitors will share in $15,000 prize money with first across the line in the main event taking home $5000, making the Production 5000 one of the country’s highest paying Speedway Sedan events.
Defending Champion Kye Blight looks to win the event for the third year in succession and heads an entry list which many are saying is equal to that of a State Title for the class in the West.
National Champion Kyle Sayer is also a time winner and enjoys racing at the South Coast venue.
Former State Champion’s Drew Ogle, Nuno Mendes along with visitors Josh Fraser, Rickie Nuccini, Mitch Killeen and Jake Blight form a part of the impressive line up.
Local hopes Aydan Trewern, Calon Ball and Clinton Theyer are always super competitive on their home patch and will be tough to beat.
Racing gets underway from 5pm with a huge line up of tin top Speedway Sedan racing on the card.
