The Whyalla Speedway the most western venue in South Australia burst into life for the first time during the 2024/2025 season on Saturday Night with round two of the 2024/2025 Southern Street Stock Series.
Mount Gambier’s Jayden Edwards made the long journey worthwhile by taking out the thirty lap main events from round one winner Jayden Blomeley with local Andy Maxwell Jnr officially third,
A small but handy field of Super Sedans were in action with a tribute to the late Robbie “Wacka” Stevens held prior to racing.
Murray Bridge’s Paul Blenkiron took the twelve lap main event win aboard his S22 Sweet from Neville Nitschke & Kym Leyson.
The Southern Street Stock Series continues on Saturday 30th November 2024 at the Southern 500 Speedway in Portland Victoria.
