This weekends Tasmanian Super Sedan Championship is one of the most wide open fields in recent memory.

There will be five former winners in the twenty car field, with a combined fifteen titles between them.

Defending champion and eight time winner David Nichols will be looking to go one better after his runner up finish in the Grand Prix a fortnight ago.

Nichols trailed home Callum Harper who is a four time Tasmanian Champion.

Harper was in dominant form at the Grand Prix, and will be one of the major chances this weekend. The field also includes Victoria’s Mick Nicola Snr, Tasmania’s Adam Beechey and Steve Latham who have all won a title each.

Queensland’s Matty Pascoe will be looking to add his first Tasmanian Title to his win in the Grand National last weekend.

Victoria’s Jamie Collins already has a Tasmanian AMCA championship to his name, and will be looking for his first title in Super Sedans.

Racing kicks off Friday night at 6:30pm, before getting back underway Saturday night at 6pm.
