Speedway Sedans Western Australia is pleased today to reveal the dates and locations for the 2024/25 SSWA WA Titles!
Kicking the Title season off will be the Production Sedans who will head down south to the Tyres & More Esperance Speedway over the Australia Day long weekend in 2025.
This will be the first time in over two and a half decades that the title will be held at the venue, the last time back in the 1998/99 season when Darren Blight took his second WA Title win.
IFuels Carnarvon Speedway will host the Modified Sedan Title next up in what will be the first time in ten years that they have hosted the event. Last time out (the 2014/15 season) Ayden Trewern claimed his first and only Title so far, and with a solid local contingent, this should be a great event.
A week later it is the Junior Sedans turn, with the Collie Speedway being awarded the honour of hosting across the March long weekend. This will be the first time in two decades the club has hosted the WA Junior Sedan Title despite hosting the National Title in recent years, and with a whole new look and plenty of exciting things being organised for the Junior drivers, all signs point towards this being a massive title weekend.
After a couple of weeks break, the Street Stocks will take their turn in the limelight, and what better way to do it than under the bright lights of the Perth Motorplex? The division has been running some massive events at the venue in recent years and now it is time to turn it up a notch with what is sure to be one of the biggest fields the event has ever seen.
The date is yet to be confirmed, but at this stage it is penciled in for April, the event marking just the third time an SSWA Title has been held at the venue and the first time ever for the Street Stocks and with huge fields expected, this event will be one not to miss for all Sedan fans.
Rounding out the Titles for season 2024/25 will be the Super Sedans who head up the highway to Kalgoorlie International Speedway. The last time the Super Sedans raced at the venue was in the 2016/17 season when Mat Pascoe took the win and with plenty on offer, we should see another stellar event.
