Speedway Sedans Western Australia have today announced the venues to host State Titles in 2019/2020, on the back of the recent announcement from Speedway Sedans Australia of the venues to host National Titles.
The WA Junior Sedan Title will be held at the Narrogin Speedway on Saturday 18 January 2020 and Sunday, 19 January 2020, a week after the National Junior Sedan Title is held at the Make Smoking History Collie Speedway. The two venues are only 90 minutes apart, so interstate competitors will not have far to travel.
The week after the WA Street Stock Title will be held at the Manjimup Speedway on Saturday 25 January 2020 and Sunday 26 January 2020, with the venue never having previously held the title, despite having held major Street Stock events in the past.
The WA Modified Sedan Title will be held in February at the Kalgoorlie Speedway with the date to be finalised.
The WA Production Sedan Title will be held the week prior to the National Production Sedan Title at the Ellenbrook Speedway, with the Make Smoking History Bunbury Speedway being the successful venue. The event will be held on Saturday 18 April 2020 and Sunday 19 April 2020.
Off the back of the highly successful 50th Anniversary Event held at Bunbury in October 2018, Speedway Sedans WA have now made this an annual event to showcase the five National Categories on the same program at the one venue. To be known as the Speedway Sedans WA Sedan Stampede, this event was highly popular, with no less than eight venues requesting to host the event, which will kick start the summer season. Moora Speedway was the successful venue, with the final date to be announced soon, most likely in the October timeslot.
The WA Super Sedan Title venue and date will be announced soon.
