The rescheduled 2019/2020 Bill Gibbs Excavations SSA Super Sedans WA State Title will be held this Saturday Night at Albany’s Attwell Park Speedway with twenty five drivers set to do battle.
The event was originally scheduled for the Easter weekend earlier this year, with many competitors due to have their first race meeting of the new season at the State Title.
Mount Barker’s Chris Pavlovich is defending the title he won eighteen months ago in Narrogin, with the driver of the Southern Haulage Sweet starting the season strongly in local competiton at his home track.

Perennial placegetter Gary “Dusty” Higgs has finished on the podium in the event on nine occasions and along with two time WA Champion Broome’s Warren Minshull loom as the biggest threats in the field to Pavlovich.
Zac Minshull and third generation pilot Lee Aylett have been outstanding since joining the SSA Super Sedan ranks in the West and wouldn’t cause much of a surprise if they finished on the podium at the end of the forty A Main.
Veteran Sedan pilots Adyme Harvey, Damon Trouchet and Kevin Bell who finished third in last season’s State Title are amongst a host of drivers with the equipment to cause an upset.
Racing gets underway from 6pm Saturday Night with SSA Street Stocks, SSA Production Sedans and SSA Junior Sedans also on the program.
Official Practice will be held between 4-6pm Friday afternoon.
