The 2020/2021 WA Super Sedan Summer Series fires back into action this Saturday afternoon at the Mount Barker Speedway located in the Great Southern Region of Western Australia.
Nineteen entries have been received for the fifth round of the series, the biggest field seen this season for the class in the state other than the rescheduled State Title held back in November.The fifth round of the series doubles as the annual Mount Barker Super Sedan Classic, which offers a prize pool of over five thousand dollars.
Western Australian Champion Gary “Dusty” Higgs has been almost unbeatable of late, winning all four of the series main events contested so far this season.
Two cars will be ran out of the Gary Higgs Motorsport stable this weekend with Dustin Higgs returning to competition aboard the ex Peter Lyall Mazda bodied Dominator with an Chev Engine under the bonnet
.Damon Trouchet has been a worthy challenger to Higgs when he has hit the racetrack in the Colin Knox Racing Sweet and finished runner up to Higgs at Mount Barker back on the 2nd January.
Lee Aylett, Kevin Bell, Kyle Larson and veteran Kemble Aylett will all be in the mix this Saturday with racing at the day time venue beginning at 12pm.
