A field of seventeen Modified Sedans will this weekend converge on the Make Smoking History Collie Speedway for the fourth round of the 2020/2021 Blackman Fabrication WA Modified Sedan Series, proudly supported by Civil Hirings.

Having recently won his second round of the 2020/2021 series, all eyes will be on Luke Fraser as he looks to continue his dominance this season.

Although Luke has been very quick this season, there have still been a variety of different heat race winners, who are eagerly seeking a feature race win, including Paul Stevens and Anthony King, who has struggled with mechanical dramas throughout the series to date.

Luke’s brother Branden Fraser is the only other driver to have won a round of the series this year and will again look to take it up to his brother, when the WA Modified Sedan Series heads to Collie.

Albany siblings Calon and Miranda Ball are among a strong field of entrants, with the pair taking out a heat race victory at the last round of the series in Albany. Calon also stood on the podium and will look to continue his strong form in the series, as will Laurie Dowsett who was also very quick on board his FGX Ford Falcon.

Young guns Ashley Baker, Jayke Malcolm and Sam McAuley will also be in the field this weekend, eager to get some lap time on the Collie Speedway track, which will play host to the 2020/2021 WA Modified Sedan State Title in early February.

Although seeking quality lap time, they will also be hoping to score a win come Saturday night, as they continue to go from strength to strength. Bunbury’s Adam Houston will make the short drive up the hill to Collie and will hope to continue his strong performance in the 2020/2021 series, having only competed in one round so far in Narrogin, where he narrowly missed the podium.

He will be joined by a number of other Modified Sedan regulars including Kevin Ellement, Shane Dubberlin and Kim Williams, who will join the series this weekend. Carnarvon couple, Jarrod Rick and Kathryn Harper again join us for the racing in Collie on Saturday night, as they look to score some valuable series points as we approach the half way mark of the 2020/2021 Blackman Fabrication WA Modified Sedan Series.

Racing will get underway from 5.30pm at Make Smoking History Collie Speedway this Saturday night and is proudly supported by Peter and Sharon Fraser from Civil Hirings; Perth’s leading Earthmoving Machinery Hire company, who have been long-time supporters of Modified Sedan racing in Western Australia.

Each driver will contest three heat races throughout the night, before the top six qualifiers contest the Southern Stump and Mulching Services Shootout, which will then be followed by the all-important twenty lap feature race.
