Round Two of the Victorian Super Sedan Series will take place this Saturday night at Avalon Raceway.
Fifteen cars will contest the second round of the series and the opening round of the 2024/25 Avalon Track Championship.
Tyson Moon was in great form during the season opener last weekend at Wahgunyah, and will hope to build on that momentum to claim back to back victories this weekend at Avalon.
Geelong’s own Jamie Collins finished as the runner up at Wahgunyah last weekend, and will look to go one better at his home track on Saturday night.
Hamilton’s Brock Atkins rounded out the podium at Wahgunyah last weekend. Atkins will look to jump a couple of spots on the podium, and claim his first victory of the season at Avalon this weekend.
Mick Nicola Jnr will make his first Victorian start of the season this weekend. Nicola Jnr will bring his brand new Sweet Chassis to Avalon on Saturday night, where he won the corresponding race last season, and will hope to repeat the dose this weekend.
Dylan Barrow will make his first Super Sedan start of the season, which will also be his first time in a Super Sedan at Avalon Raceway. Barrow will look to hit the ground running and go to victory lane on Saturday night.
Lionel West looked right at home at Wahgunyah last weekend aboard his new Sweet Chassis, and will hope to carry that momentum into another strong showing at Avalon on Saturday night.
South Australian Mitchell Rigney makes the trek to Avalon, and will hope to take the victory back home to Adelaide on Saturday night.
Danny Amato makes his return to the track this Saturday night and will bring with him a brand new Sweet Chassis.
Darren Clarke, Darren Giacometti, Jimmy Harris, and Stephen Hodder will also all make their first starts of the season, and hope to get their seasons off to strong starts at Avalon this weekend.
Drivers will contest two heat races each to set the field for the feature race. If you’re not able to make it to the track all the action will be live on Clay Per View.
