Round Three of the Victorian Super Sedan Series is set to take place this Saturday night at Alexandra Speedway.
Eight drivers will descend on the ‘Home of the 100 lap Derby’, with the action set to be at a fever pitch as the drivers look to gain the ascendancy in the points standings on Saturday night.
Victorian and Tasmanian Champion Jamie Collins heads to Alexandra with back to back third placed finishes to his name, and will chasing his maiden win of the season on Saturday night.
Collins will be joined by round one winner Mick Nicola Jnr, who will be playing his Joker Card in a bid to make up some ground after missing last weekends second round at Rushworth.
Dave Mackenzie will also be playing his Joker Card, and Mackenzie will look to bounce back after a challenging night at Rushworth last weekend.
Lionel West secured his best finish of the season at Rushworth when he crossed the line in fourth position. West will be looking to keep the momentum going with another strong performance at Alexandra.
Brock Atkins is yet to find his feet with his new Insane Chassis. Atkins will come to Alexandra chasing a more complete performance, and look to get on the podium for the first time this season with the VSSS.
Darren Giacometti, Trav Ramsdale, and Danny Smith will round out the small, but classy field on Saturday night.
Racing will kick off at 4pm, with three heat races on the card to set the field for the main event.
