The re-run of the Victorian Super Sedan Title will be held this Saturday night at the Premier Speedway, Waarnambool with a quality field entered, which will also represent the last major event prior to the National Title.
Victorian Champion, Dave Gartner will be hoping to go back to back after his thrilling win last season, but his opposition this season will include fellow South Australian, Ryan Alexander, who last weekend de-throned Gartner from the mantle of South Australian Champion. Alexander won the 2016 Victorian Title and would love to make it back to back Titles.
Also entered for the Victorian Title is Peter Nicola, who has won the event three times, including back to back in 2014 and 2015.
Meanwhile, Mick Nicola Snr, continues to win major events, and despite not having won the State Title since 2001, he has podiumed six times since that time and was last seasons runner-up.
National Champion, Callum Harper is also entered and will be hoping for a better run on Saturday night after being side-lined with a mechanical issue mid race in the Tasmanian Title last Saturday night. Harper has won almost every major event there is to win, but he is yet to win the Victorian Title.
Drivers from South Australia, New South Wales, Tasmania, and Queensland will join the Victorians in what promises to be a great night of racing, with the winner taking plenty of confidence into the National Title.
