The Victorian Super Sedan Title at the Rushworth Speedway turned into a farce on Saturday night, when the event was postponed after two heats, due to the unsafe condition of the race track.
Track conditions deteriorated quickly, were incredibly dusty and developed very large ruts, which despite efforts to fix, were not able to. Drivers decided it was unsafe to continue.
Two qualifying heats were held with wins to defending Champion Dave Gartner and fellow South Australian Ryan Alexander.
A decision on a date to re-run the event will be advised in due course.
