Official Release by Speedway Sedans Victoria.
Victorian Kye Walters and defending Victorian Modified Sedan Champion will go into title defence mode this coming Saturday at Alexandra Speedway.
The venue that so regularly plays host to the Victorian VMPA series is no stranger to Modified sedan action with so many strong local competitors in the division.
Damien Miller, Brody Chrystie, Matt Nelson and Kasey Garlick will all be giving 100% to try keep the Victoria #1 trophy at their home club.
Ballarat or Redline Raceway has always been a well documented breeding ground for Modified Sedan champions.
The defending champion Kye Walters represents Redline Raceway along with John Baker who is experienced across numerous Sedan categories.
Darcy Wilson has been building for a confidence boosting title shot, Darren Cockerill who is looking to make major amends of a component failure in his 2021/22 Victorian Title assault, Dylan Barrow in a stand out rookie year and Bella Rizzoli is back in a big way in the Modified Sedan class.
Bendigo has long been the connecting rod between so many pivotal speedways in Victoria. Bendigo is in good hands with Graham West in the iconic LJ torana and Brad Wicks fresh off a feature win at Redline.
Nyora Raceway is in the thick of Sedan country and is represented strongly. Driving for the Nyora Raceway club will be Dale Hallett, Cameron Dike, Jamie Paull and Scott Angus.
The Goulburn Valley is a little slice of heaven for horsepower with Benny Mannix, Jack Houlahan and Rachel Pratt who have all had a big return to form.
Wade McCarthy will be the sole competitor from Mildura and knows what it takes to win this event. Kasey Ferguson will give it her all in the Orange Laang Speedway Commodore.
Daniel Simpson has also held this prestigious number and will be the sole Horsham entrant.
Tristan McGraw will wheel his always immaculate Falcon from the Corowa region.
Shaun Thompson will do his handiest work and will race out of the Heartland Raceway Moama club.
John Dike will be the sole representative of the Drouin Speedway club in his #51 Falcon.
Nathan Shortis and the Hulk Shane Roycroft will drive for their home at Wangaratta City Raceway.
David Barrie will switch out cars from last weekend’s Victorian Street Stock Title and instead settle in with the race rubber from Colac.
The first of the interstate competitors is Mick Johnson who has been the king of the highway this week travelling over from Broome in Western Australia.
Kayla Knox is set to be the solo South Aussie in the immaculate #68 machine. And last but not least the state of New South Wales will be well represented by Daniel Patton in this interstate title shot.
Action is set for a start from 2pm on Saturday at the 530m Clay based Alexandra & District Speedway.
All Race results and updates will be posted here on the Speedway Sedans Victoria Facebook page throughout the night.
And excitingly again Clay Per View will be live streaming this event right across the nation so head on over to their Facebook page for the easiest link and do not click on any spam links in the comments.
