Press Release by WA Modified Sedans

With just two rounds remaining, the 2021/2022 KCM Transport WA Modified Sedan Series will return to Makit Hardware Narrogin Speedway this Saturday night, for the penultimate and seventh round of the series proudly support by Totally Independent Tyre Service and Mechanical.

Earlier this season it was Lee Watt who took out the second round of the 2021/2022 KCM Transport WA Modified Sedan Series held at Narrogin Speedway, a feat he will be hoping to repeat this weekend as he vies for his maiden series title.

Hot on the back bumper of Lee Watt will be Luke Fraser, who you can never discount. Fraser, who is yet to play his Joker Card for the season only has two opportunities remaining to play it, whether it be this weekend in Narrogin or at the series finale in Moora.

Luke will be joined again by brother Branden, who has had endless mechanical dramas that have all but ended his chance of a three-peat in overall series victories.

Young guns Jayke Malcolm, Sam McAuley and Gaje Price have proven recently that they are never to be discounted whenever they take to the track and will look for a strong performance with a smaller, but quality field.

Another young gun who is thoroughly enjoying the Modified Sedan action is Jamie Higgs, who will again be in the field.

Returning to Narrogin this weekend will also be Shane Dubberlin, Merv Penn and Brett Mills who continue to secure all important series points courtesy of their consistency in turning up to each round.

The final driver in the field for this weekend will be Collie’s Shaun Brewer, who will make his series debut after opting to sit out the last round at Augusta-Margaret River.

Brewer is another driver who has enjoyed putting racing rubber on his Holden Commodore and will hope for a strong maiden outing with the KCM Transport WA Modified Sedan Series.

The action at Makit Hardware Narrogin Speedway will get underway from 6pm this Saturday evening with each driver contesting three heat races, before the top six drivers will take to the track for the Southern Stump and Mulching Services Shootout and then the all-important twenty lap final.

This weekend’s racing action is courtesy of Anthony and Donna of Totally Independent Tyre Service and Mechanical in Port Kennedy, your one stop for all things tyres and mechanical.
