This weekend will see the Ellenbrook Speedway host a massive double header featuring two of their Blue Ribbon events across Saturday and Sunday.

The CTM Recruitment SSA Production Sedan Classic was rained out a fortnight ago, hence being rescheduled to this weekend and it has still attracted a strong thirty-five cars.

Defending Champion Nuno Mendes headlines the field, with last year’s second place getter Jamie Higgs also in the list. Shane Dubberlin, Josh Fraser and Jake Blight are the only other drivers to have featured on the podium in recent years, while 2007 winner Rick Iwanow and 2000 and 2003 winner Wayne Leviston will be hoping to turn back the clocks and claim a win in what will be the 49th annual running of the event.

The traditional event for this weekend is the Brian Rose Memorial/RDA 100 for the SSA Street Stocks and with over forty nominations received, it should be a massive weekend of action.

Defending champion Jake Hoath, also the current WA Champion, comes into the event as a heavy favourite, but with former winners Cody Avins, Hayden Norman, Daniel Ameduri, Jason Oldfield and eleven time winner Jamie Oldfield all in the field, he will certainly have his work cut out for him.

Also on the program across the two days will be both the New Star and Top Star SSA Junior Sedans.

With such a huge schedule of racing across the two days, events will start at 2pm Saturday and Sunday.
