The very unique Corbet’s Group Mothar Mountain Speedway in Gympie Queensland is getting set for a big two nights of Super Sedan action.
Some of Australia’s best Super Sedans are set to descend on the Mountain for the Masondale Heavy Haulage Super Sedan Gympie Gold Summer Slam with the two nights of competition doubling as Rounds 5 & 6 of the 2019/2020 McCosker Super Sedan Series.
Current National Super Sedan Champion Matt Pascoe has started the new season in brilliant fashion aboard his Sweet Chassis House Car, with his last start being victory in the QLD Super Sedan Title for the fourth year in a row.
Rockhampton’s Matt Williams, Toowomba’s Sean Black plus the ever present Wayne Randall have shown great car speed in this season and will be looking to continue that heading into the summer’s big shows.
One of Australia’s most decorated Super Sedan pilots Darren Kane should be on a mission to record his first major victory of the 2019/2020 season with fellow Dominator runner Phil Barton from Broome in Western Australia joining the series.
Ford Wreckers Redcliffe are the major sponsors for the two nights for the Super Sedan Association with SSA Street Stocks, SSA Production Sedans and SSA Junior Sedans all on the program on Boxing Day.
SSA National 4s will be on the support card for the second night which will feature a 40 Lap Main Event for the Super Sedans.
