The Speedway Sedans Australia, JAC Civil, National Production Sedan Title is just days away, to be held at the Maryborough Speedway, this Saturday and Sunday nights, with Joel Thomas set to race in his first Production Sedan National Title.
Thirty three year old Thomas, has been racing for twelve years, and is very much looking forward to the title.
I have raced at Maryborough a fair bit in the past. I have had success there, looking forward to seeing what the new surface holds for us, Thomas said.
From Elimbah, Thomas will make the two and a half hour trip from South of the Sunshine Coast to Maryborough for this weekends event, which will be his second National Title, after previously competing in a Modified Sedan National Title.
Driving a VS Commodore, Thomas has had a limited race schedule this season while building up his business JR Industries.
I am really looking forward to the atmosphere and the close hard racing. I would love to make the big dance (A Main), that would be awesome, and to take the A1 would just be unreal, Thomas added.
Thomas is happy to race on any type of track, but admits a black slick brings horsepower cars back.
Like many, Thomas believes Trevor Mills, Josh Crang and Josh Harm are three drivers who are likely to figure at the prominent end of the field.
Joel Thomas would like to thank the following:

Thomas finishes by adding, I just want to thank everyone for the help in getting us to the title.
