A huge field of twenty one Super Sedans will be hoping to finally get their season underway this Saturday night at Gulf Western and Independent Oils Raceway Latrobe, for Round One of the Walsh Marine Services Tasmanian Super Sedan Series!
The additional two weeks of pre season has awarded drivers the opportunity to have a little bit of extra time to get their cars ready.
Corey Smith has made the most of this opportunity, getting his freshened engine back and bolted in ready to go after a year off.
Tasmanian Champion Callum Harper was a dominant force at Latrobe last season, winning both the Grand Prix and Tasmanian Title, in both of those races he was followed home by David Nichols, who will be looking to go one better this time around.
Racing will kick off at 6pm, drivers will compete in two heats each, before a thirty lap feature race.
