Official Release- Friday 29th December 2023.
For the first time in nearly ten years the National Super Sedan Series returns to the National Speedway landscape when round one of the revamped tournament is conducted this weekend (Saturday & Sunday Nights) at the Hi-Tec Oils Toowoomba Speedway in Queensland.
Being held in conjunction with the third annual running of the two night $10,000 to win Ian Boettcher Classic, the NSSS National Super Sedan Series will be staged over fifteen rounds across six states partnering up with all the major Super Sedan events across the country.
Over forty of Australia’s best Super Sedan competitors have made their way to the Darling Downs region of Queensland for what promises to be one of the biggest Speedway Sedans Australia events of the season.
Defending Ian Boettcher Classic winner Darren Kane who is also a five time NSSS National Super Sedan Series Champion will be a man on a mission to claim the race that honours his car owner and a revered figure in Australian Speedway.
Kane is joined in the Ian Boettcher Race Parts team for the event by Lucas Oils Late Model Series regular Devin Moran from Dresden Ohio in the United States.
Current National Champion Trent Wilson all with former National Champions Matt Pascoe, Steve Jordan, Mick Nicola and Tasmania’s Callum Harper are amongst a host of big names looking to take home the five figure payday.
The rising young brigade of Australian Super Sedan racing is littered through the entry list with Queensland Champion Brad Pascoe, Zac Pascoe, Victorian Ash Bergmeier, Toowomba’s Sean Black and last start winners with the McCosker Super Sedan Series JJ Hamilton and Hayden Brims all likely contenders this weekend.
The T-Bar Nationals for Modified Sedans featuring nearly seven entries is apart of the two night show with every lap streamed live courtesy of Clay-Per-View.
