Mildura’s Jarod Waters aboard his Enzed back Mercedes C350 has set the fastest time during official practice for the 2022 Bendigo Metal Fabrications Speedway Sedans Australia National Modified Sedan Title that is being held at the Heartland Raceway in Moama this weekend.
Waters laid down his fast time of 19.975 early in proceedings during the two hour practice session with the Sunraysia region based driver the only competitor to go into the nineteen second bracket.
Fifty nine competitors took to the racetrack with an unfortunate incident occurring early in proceedings between Matt Nelson & Ty Galley which prevented Nelson from recording a time.
All sixty-eight drivers went through scrutineering earlier in the day.The grid draws for the four rounds of heat racing will be released later this evening.
