Speedway Sedan racing will kick off the new year in style with the running of the 2023 SSA Street Stock Tasmanian State Title this Sunday Night (New Years Day) at the AutoKlene Hobart Raceway.
The 2023 Tasmanian State Title for Street Stocks will be a very wide open affair, with the class having not raced at the venue this season.
Forty Seven competitors all from the Apple Isle will do battle during the one night event, as two time and defending champion Corey Bauld looks to win the event for the first time in Hobart.
Former Tasmanian Champions Steven Harvey (2021) & Nathan Russell (2019) are in the field along with former placegetter Dale Riley Jnr.
Nick Taylor took out the feature race win at Latrobe a few nights ago and will be prominent along with Matt Aktinson, Matt Crawford and Dylan Jetson.
Racing begins from 6pm at Australia’s most southern speedway.
