Nearly fifty of the country’s finest SSA Modified Sedan competitors are heading to the Hi-Tec Oils Toowoomba Speedway this Friday & Saturday Night for the 2021/2022 Pro1 Race Parts T-Bar Nationals.
Former winners Gympie’s Aidan Raymont & Max Clarke from northern New South Wales head the line up for the third annual running of the event.
The forty seven nominations received is the biggest field for the $5000 to win Pro1 Race Parts T-Bar Nationals which pays out over $23,000 across the two nights of competition.
The two nights in Toowoomba serves as a great precursor to the 10th Annual Kings Royal at the Kingaroy Speedway the following weekend, with the two events arguably the biggest in the land for Speedway Sedans Australia classes.
Newly crowned Queensland Champion Mick Shelford aboard his methanol burning VL Holden Commodore won the Queensland State Title at Toowoomba only a fortnight ago narrowly defeating the National & Tasmanian Champion Kye Walters from Torquay in Victoria.
Walters returns to Toowoomba with fellow Victorians, Brock & Todd Atkins, Kasey Garlick, Matt Nelson and Rachel Pratt.
Corey & Jakoke Jetson along with Wade Cleary are in the field from Tasmanian as they look to gain significant experience racing with the country’s best in their own backyards.
Many of the Queensland competitors in the field have travelled a significant distance to race across the next two weekends with the north & central parts of the state well represented.
Night One will see two rounds of heat races ahead two mini features both paying $500 to win.
Night Two will have two more rounds of heat race competition ahead of twin B Main, pole shuffle and 35 Lap A Main where all twenty four starters receive a minimum $400 payout.
A live PPV is available at www.clayperview.com with Round Four of the Moore Trailers SSA Production Sedan Series, Round Three of the Engage Ag SSA Street Stock Series & SSA Junior Sedan Series Round Three the support program for the two nights.
Racing from 5pm.
