John Sylvester has claimed the Friday Night Feature Race honours for the Street Stocks at the Gulf Western & Independent Oils Raceway in Latrobe Tasmania.
The Street Stocks are the major support act to the 2023 SSA Super Sedan Tasmanian State Title this weekend, with twenty five cars doing battle during the Friday portion of the event.
Sylvester who recently finished second in the Tasmanian State Title for Street Stocks down in Hobart, took the lead from Corey Bauld on lap six and would never be headed for the remainder of the race.
Bauld would cross the line just 0.359 of a second behind the Holden Commodore of Sylvester with Bradley Currant rounding out the top three.
The Street Stocks will be back for night two at the Gulf Western & Independent Oils Raceway.
