Over sixty Speedway Sedans Australia class cars were in action today at the Ellenbrook Speedway near Perth in Western Australia.
Street Stock competitors were out in force with nearly thirty cars in attendance.
A thrilling main event for the Street Stocks saw Evan Wakefield hold the Iwanow brothers Matthew & Blake off for all but the final lap as Blake Iwanow made the race winning move within sight of the chequered flag with Matthew Iwanow and Wakefield second & third respectively.
Kalgoorlie’s Lachie Dellar narrowly prevailed over Mitch Killeen and Josh Fraser in the fifteen lap Production Sedan feature race with another Kalgoorlie competitor Tyler Scott claiming the Junior Sedan finale against a strong field.
The Ellenbrook Speedway will be back in action on Sunday 18th August when the Tom Green Memorial Gold Cup for Junior Sedans is held.
