Press Release by Super Sedans Western Australia
The Super Sedans Western Australia Summer Series is set to resume this weekend with round five at Esperance Toyota Speedway.
Ten cars are set to do battle, and everyone will be looking to upstage Dusty and Dustin Higgs who have amassed four feature wins between them so far this season.
Dustin Higgs is set to debut a brand new Sweet Chassis, armed with a 525 crate engine, which he will be hoping will propel him to his third win in a row.
Dusty Higgs won’t be letting Dustin have it all his own way, and will be looking to get back on the top step of the podium after winning the opening two rounds of the season.
Rob Knox has filled the podium at every round so far this season, and will be hoping to break the Higgs’ streak and get his first win of the season.
Also in contention will be Broome’s Phil Barton who will be making the twenty eight hour trek to make his first Summer Series appearance of the season.
Nathan Thiele and Ajay Hammer have been in the mix at each round so far, but are both yet to secure a podium finish.
Both will be hoping to buck that trend at Esperance on Sunday, especially Hammer who will be playing her Eyerite Signs Joker Card.
Kyle Larson had his best showing of the season to date, last time out at Katanning, and will be hoping to build on that this weekend at Esperance.
Drivers will tackle three heats to set the field for the feature race.
