This Saturday night the second round of the 2017 Fun City Super Sedan Series will be held at the Redline Raceway, Ballarat.

The opening round was spectacular, with some high quality racing, and this Saturday night is sure to produce the same, with eighteen drivers entering.

Round one was contested at Heartland Raceway, with Victorian Champion Peter Nicola storming home to record the first victory of the series. He will start favourite again this Saturday night, having won at the Redline venue in February.

Ash Bergmeier has been quick and consistent in early season racing, but is yet to find the top step of the podium. The task of winning will not be an easy one, with South Australian trio, Paul Blenkiron, Dave Gartner and Kym Jury making the trip across the border to compete. Blenkiron won the Feature Race at Murray Bridge on Saturday night, and will be looking to replicate that performance on Saturday night, although the field is much larger in number.

The field also include Mick Nicola Snr, Lucas Roberts, Dave MacKenzie and Trent Wilson, while Brad Wicks, Sean Lister, Anthony Nicola and Jason Picone will all be making their first outing of the season.

Racing will commence at 5.00pm EDST at Redline Raceway, with events also scheduled for Street Stock and Junior Sedans who will compete in the Piston Cup.
