STREET STOCK IRONMAN SERIES SET FOR TOOWOOMBA

Off the back of a highly successful series sponsored by Immortal Rollcages last season, the Street Stock divisions can look forward to another exciting series at Hi-Tec Oils Toowoomba Speedway during the upcoming 2021/22 season.

The ‘Engage Ag’ Ironman Series will be held over 5 exciting rounds and will carry are $4,000 series prize purse that will be paid out to the top 10 finishes at the end of the series. On top of this, every single night will pay $250 to win, on top of tow money that will be paid to every driver that starts the night.

The format will see the feature race held over 20 laps with 10 laps in either direction which is an exciting initiative for Street Stocks here this season.

The series will be held over the following dates:

Round 1 – 23rd October 2021
Round 2 – 27th December 2021
Round 3 – 14th January 2022
Round 4 – 15th January 2022
Round 5 – 14th May 2022

The Ironman Series will run alongside some exciting events including the Queensland Modified Sedan Title, along with Round 3 and 4 being held on separate nights of the T-Bar Nationals weekend. This means double the payout for Street Stocks that weekend with 2 rounds being contested.

Note – the season opener on 17th & 18th September (Toowoomba Carpentry Solutions Street Stock Spring Spectacular) is a stand-alone event with a very impressive weekend prize purse. There are some very exciting announcements about this exciting event to be made in the days ahead that is sure to get Street Stocks up and about to get to Toowoomba for the season opener.

Supplementary Regulations for this series will be on the Toowoomba Speedway website in the next week or so. However, there will be no nomination fees and any driver from any club is eligible to win this series and get amongst the impressive series prize money.
