One of Western Australia’s highest paying Speedway Sedan events the annual “Stocktober” is on the program for tomorrow nights season opening race meeting at the Boyes Equipment Kalgoorlie International Speedway in the Goldfields region of Western Australia.
Drivers from around the state are making the long haul to try take home a slice of the $10,000 prize pool on offer that has been kindly donated by local companies Goldfields Machining, KCLD Cleaning, JB Autobody Repair and Ground Masters.
2019 Western Australian Champion Jack Barnewall will look to defend the event he won twelve months ago but will face one of the toughest lines up seen in SSA Street Stocks at Kalgoorlie in many years.
Collie’s Ethan Genev and Paul Joss along with 2018 WA Champion Hayden Norman are all significant chances along with Carnarvon’s Damon Lyall who was very impressive at the recent Brian Rose Memorial held down at Ellenbrook.
Former Kalgoorlie locals Evan Wakefield and Peter Walker have significant experience racing at the venue and should be confident of a strong showing along with Esperance based peddlers Zane Humphrys and Linton Dickerson.
Racing gets underway from 6.30pm with more information about the event available at the Boyes Equipment Kalgoorlie International Speedway Facebook page.
