Speedway Sedans Australia is excited to announce the return of the SSA-GO Travel Fund, providing valuable financial assistance to competitors travelling long distances to race during the 2026/27 season.
Since its introduction, the SSA-GO Travel Fund has proven to be one of Speedway Sedans Australia’s most popular initiatives, with available funding being fully allocated each season as competitors have embraced the opportunity to chase events right across the country.
The program is designed to help SSA-registered competitors offset the costs associated with travelling to compete, encouraging greater participation at events and making interstate competition more accessible.
Successful applicants may receive a one-off payment of up to $500, with funding available for competitors:
• Travelling more than 2,000 kilometres by road, and/or
• Travelling to or from Tasmania, including shipping across Bass Strait.
Applications are open now, and competitors are encouraged to submit their applications as soon as possible.
As in previous years, funding is limited and applications will close once all available funds have been allocated, so competitors are urged to get in early to avoid missing out.
