The Hi-Tec Oils Toowoomba Speedway witnessed a sensational night of Speedway Sedan racing on Saturday Night as great fields of Modified Sedans & Production Sedans hit the high banks.
Modified Sedans were contesting the opening round of their Toowoomba Steering & Suspension Smackdown Series as over thirty cars filled the pit area.
The Nissan 300ZX of former Queensland Champion Brodie Boss hit the lead early in the twenty five lap main event for Modified Sedans after starting on the second row.
A fascinating battle for the minor placings between Aidan Raymont, Nathan Macdonald and the Camaro of 2011 National Champion Max Clarke had the crowd enthralled with Macdonald capturing second by race end with Clarke third as the race was declared on lap twenty three.
Murray Dioth claimed an incident plagued Production Sedan main event in what Round One of their Moore Trailers Champions Series.
Toowoomba local Ricky Gill claimed second from New South Wales Champion Jordan Biviano who narrowly held off a number of cars for the final podium spot.
