Western Australian Production Sedan Champion Kyle Sayer has claimed his third successive victory in the RDA Production Sedan Classic toay after leading all thirty laps at the Allwest Plant Hire Ellenbrook Speedway.

Sayer went through the entire day undefeated in what was a dominating performance by the driver of the Kachana Beef Holden Commodore from Busselton in the South West region of Western Australia.

2018 WA Champion Barry Rose worked his way into second place by race end after starting from the outside of the third row with 2022 Natrad Production Sedan Four Crowns Series Champion Josh Fraser officially third.

Thirty one Production Sedans were on hand for the final blue ribbon event for the class to be held at the venue that will host the 2023 SSA National Production Sedan Title.

Fancied contenders Branden Fraser, Mitchell Baker, Nuno Mendes and Hayden Norman were all out early in the day along with a whole host of other casualties leaving just nineteen cars to start the thirty lap finale.

Sayer and Josh Fraser occupied the front row for the main event with Sayer getting the initial jump and would lead the opening few laps as Barry Rose had worked his way into fourth place by lap six.

Darryl George brought about a stoppage on lap seven as Sayer lead the field away after the restart from Fraser, Killeen, Rose and Jackson Derrick as the race began to be threaten by inclement weather which surrounded the venue.

The battle for second place began to intensify as Fraser, Killeen and Rose raced three wide at times as the leaders began to work their way through the lap traffic as Sayer enjoyed a significant advantage over his competitors.

Rose would find a way past both Fraser and Killeen in the concluding stages as the final twenty three laps were completed without any stoppages in what was a great exhibition of Speedway Sedan Racing.

It would be Kyle Sayer’s day as the State Champion recorded his third straight victory in the RDA Production Sedan Classic from Rose, Fraser, Killeen with Wayne Leviston a distant fifth place.

The next race meeting at the Allwest Plant Hire Ellenbrook Speedway will feature the Brian Rose Memorial for Street Stocks to be held on Saturday 24th & Sunday 25th September 2022.
