Borderline Speedway is set to come alive this Saturday night when the South Australian Super Sedan Title comes to Mount Gambier.
In what will be the biggest field in South Australia since the 2020 National Super Sedan Title, twenty drivers from five states will duel it out to become SA1.
Current and defending champion Mick Nicola Jnr will be looking to keep the number one on the door for another season.
Nicola Jnr came second at the Fireball Challenge at Murray Bridge in February and will be hoping to go one better on Saturday night.
Victorious at the Fireball Challenge was Tasmanian Callum Harper who hasn’t had a great deal of luck in title races this season, will be hoping for a change of fortune, and to add a South Australian Title to his already impressive résumé.
Fresh off a thrilling second placed finish last Saturday at Toowoomba, National Champion Matty Pascoe will be looking to add another State to his door as the current state title holder of Queensland and Tasmania.
Returning to the division after a twelve month lay off is local star Ryan Alexander. Alexander has been in great form in both Wingless Sprints and Sprintcars, and will be hoping to get straight back to his best in Super Sedans.
The field will also be strengthened by former National Champions Mick Nicola Snr and Steve Jordan, as well as current National Modified Sedan Champion Brock Atkins Racing will kick off at 5pm with each driver tackling three heat races before the forty lap main event.
