Five Time Tasmanian Street Stock Champion Troy Russell has steered his Ford Falcon to victory in the inaugural running of the Brett Waddington Memorial at the Solo Hobart Raceway.
Troy Russell got the better of current Tasmanian champion Nathan Russell (no relation), in the twenty five lap main event with Corey Bauld narrowly holding off Ben Riley for third.
Many of the retirements during the event were caused predominantly by flat tyres as the race proved to be a real test of man and machine.
SSA Street Stocks in Tasmania will this week regroup ahead of the rescheduled Killa Earthworx Stockie Showdown to be held next Saturday Night at the Cranes Combined Carrick Speedway.
