Barry Rose proved way too good on Saturday night at the Ellenbrook Speedway, leading all the way in the fifteen lap A Main, before a big crowd.
After six qualifying heats, of which Rose won twice and third in the other, he would start on the front row of the grid for the 15 lap Feature Race with Shaun Brewer.
Rose immediately went to the lead, with Daniel Flavel moving to second ahead of Brad Mitchell, whil Brewer dropped to fourth.
The leading positions remained unchanged until lap nine, when Daniel Flavel retired from the race, elevating Brad Mitchell to second and Warren Flavel to third.
Leon Wood, who started well down the field, systematically made his way through the field and moved to fourth in the concluding stages, but no one was going to catch Rose, who simply drove away from the opposition for a very comfortable win.
