Redline Raceway returns to action this weekend with a big night of racing, headlined by the SSA Modified Sedans competing for the Ern Overall Memorial, alongside a strong showing of Junior Sedans for the ninth round of the Junior Sedan Promotion Association of Victoria (JSPA) Series.
The Modified Sedans will race in honour of the late Ern Overall, a long-time supporter of both Redline and the division. A quality field is set to battle it out, including local hopes Kye Walters and Darren Cockerill. Walters, a former National Champion, will be chasing a big win before the season wraps up.
They won’t have it easy though, with strong competition from Darcy Wilson (a recent Redline winner), Wade McCarthy, Lachlan Fitzpatrick, fan favourite Graham West, and former state title winner Chris Rieck all in the mix.
The Junior Sedans are back on track as well, with plenty of young talent to watch. In the Top Stars names like James Peacock, Brad Marshall and Jake Bradley should figure prominently while in the New Stars any number of drivers including Ollie Roycroft, Oscar Conder and Blake Jenkins could run away with the win.
Racing begins Saturday night from 5pm.
