Current New South Wales Modified Sedan Champion Aidan Raymont collected the $2500 winners cheque that was on offer for the Pro1 Race Parts Stampede held last night at the Autobarn Carina International Speedway in Bundaberg Queensland.
Doubling as night one of the Summer of Speed series being held across four race tracks in South East Queensland, Raymont defeated the popular Holden VL Commodore of Mick Shelford and Bundaberg local Dennis Shallcross.
Brodie Boss was the man on the move finishing in fifth place by race end after starting near the tail of the field.
Drama struck National Champion Kye Walters earlier in the night after getting caught up in a racing incident and suffering heavy damage to the front of his True Design Homes Ford Falcon.
Townsville’s Adam Jorgensen rolled heavily in the main event with his Ford Cortina showing the signs of battle afterwards.
The Summer of Speed series continues tonight at the Corbet’s Group Mothar Mountain Speedway in Gympie with a PPV live stream available courtesy of the team at Ash Media.
