The “Tassie Tiger Trail” for Super Sedans continues this evening at the Cranes Combined Carrick Speedway located just outside of Launceston, as competitors have one last hit out just days prior to the National Title in Latrobe this weekend.
A field of Fourteen cars return to the venue where Queensland’s Matt Pascoe won the Tasmanian State Title earlier this month in a big Australia Day eve race meeting supported by the Iron Horse Bar & Grill.
The “Race for Beech” honours the late Ian Beechey who is a member of the Tasmanian Motorsport Hall of Fame and a pioneer in both Speedway and Circuit Racing.
Two time National Champion Callum Harper has won the Grand Prix & Grand National events the last two weekend’s will be tough to beat along with Steve Latham who is always fast around the Cranes Combined Carrick Speedway.
SSA Junior Sedans are also on the five division program tonight in Carrick with the Super Sedan main event to be conducted over thirty laps.
