The dates for all six of the 2021/22 SSQ Queensland Titles have now been confirmed with each of the host venues.The Super Sedan Queensland Title will be held at Rockhampton Speedway on 14 May a week after the GP53 event in Brisbane.
Having two major events back to back like this, provides all our visiting drivers with extra incentive to travel and take part in a two successive major events. This date was kindly made available through the generosity of the Maryborough club who kindly agreed to move the Junior Sedan Queensland Title to 12 March.
The Modified Sedan Queensland Title will be held at Hi-Tec Oils Toowoomba Speedway on 27 December. Modified Sedans will be top billing at this event that falls during a holiday break that’s sure to prove very popular for many drivers from right across the country.
Monday 27th and Tuesday 28th are both public holidays and with a number of other big events being held in January including the T-Bar Nationals (14 & 15 January) along with the Kings Royal the following weekend (22 to 24 January) the month of money for Modified Sedans will be massive kicking off with the Queensland Title in Toowoomba.
The Production Sedan Queensland Title remains on 12 February Bundaberg’s, Carina Speedway. A record field is expected to enter this event thats sure to be a mammoth night for the popular division.
The Street Stock Queensland Title is scheduled in for 27 November at Mothar Mountain Speedway in Gympie. With increasing numbers and being at a venue that is on so many peoples bucket list, a big field from of cars from all over the country is expected to take part in the state title.
National 4s will contest their 2022 state title at Roma Speedway on Saturday 30 April. After the success of the National 4 event held last season in Roma, its expected a wonderful field of cars will venture west to be part of the Queensland Title.
Massive thanks to all the venues for their cooperation and willings to work with each other to lock in these events.
With limited long weekends available and so many tracks all in close proximity running events on the same weekends, scheduling events is becoming a harder task each season.
Now that the dates are set drivers and fans can now their make plans to be part of some epic Queensland Sedan Titles during the 2021/22 speedway season.
