Speedway Sedans Australia have today announced the replacement venue for the National Production Sedan Title after the original host venue were unable to continue in hosting the event.

Western Speedway, Hamilton, Victoria will be the host venue for the title, and have held one National Title previously, 26 years ago, when Peter Jacobson won the National Modified Sedan Title.

In making the decision Speedway Sedans Australia were conscious that many teams may have already made arrangements for the National Title, so it was also important not only where possible to have a venue close in proximity to the original venue, but also able to host the title at the same time, so that those that had booked holidays would not be inconvenienced further.

Speedway Sedans Australia CEO Greg Lynd thanked everyone for their patience and understanding. Obviously it is not ideal when a venue is unable to host the title, and after an extensive process which saw many venues re-tender to host the event, it was pleasing to see a strong submission from Hamilton. We look forward to working with the Hamilton club in the months ahead to ensure the title is a huge success for the club and the competitors, Lynd said.
