PRODUCTION SEDAN CHAMPIONS SERIES ANNOUNCED FOR TOOWOOMBA

Production Sedans are booming and during the past couple of season have exploded in popularity at Hi-Tec Oils Toowoomba Speedway.

This season, a new and exciting series has been planned for the Production Sedan division which is sure to be a massive hit for the 2021/22 speedway season.

The ‘Moore Trailers’ Champions Series will be held over 5 exciting rounds and will carry are $4,000 series prize purse that will be paid out to the top 10 finishes at the end of the series. On top of this, every single night will pay $400 to win, on top of tow money that will be paid to every driver that starts the night.

Moore Trailers is name synonymous with reliability in the transport industry, and more and more transport companies are putting Moore Trailers to work for them. In fact, almost one in ten trailers on the road proudly carry the Moore name for everything from produce, equipment or even coal haulage. The series will be held over the following dates:

Round 1 – 23rd October 2021
Round 2 – 27th December 2021
Round 3 – 14th January 2022
Round 4 – 15th January 2022
Round 5 – 26th March 2022

The Champions Series will run alongside some exciting events including the Queensland Modified Sedan Title, along with Round 3 and 4 being held on separate nights of the T-Bar Nationals weekend. This means double the payout for Production Sedans that night with 2 rounds being contested.

Note – the season opener on 17th & 18th September (Golden Helmet Shootout) is a stand-alone event with a very impressive weekend prize purse. There are some very exciting announcements about this exciting event to be made in the days ahead that is sure to get Production Sedans excited about getting to Toowoomba for the season opener.

Each night of the Champions Series will pay the following:

1st – $400
2nd – $250
3rd – $150

Tow Money – $50 to all drivers that start the night (on top of prize money).

Series Prize Money:

1st – $1,000
2nd – $800
3rd – $500
4th – $400
5th – $300
6th – $200
7th – $200
8th – $200
9th – $200
10th – $200

Supplementary Regulations for this series will be on the Toowoomba Speedway website in the next week or so. However, there will be no nomination fees and any driver from any club is eligible to win this series and get amongst the impressive series prize money.

New this season at Toowoomba Speedway, the venue will host afternoon pit parties that will allow fans to get up close and personal to all the stars and their cars every weekend. Drivers will be encouraged to bring along with their giveaways and have their merchandise available for sale at their pit bays. Camping for competitors in the pits is a welcome addition this season as the recently refurbished showers behind the control tower will be available for everyone to use.

There is a heap of exciting announcements for all the SSA Sedans to come, as this shapes up as a huge and exciting season at Hi-Tec Oils Toowoomba Speedway.
