Broome Western Australia based Super Sedan flyer Phil Barton is ready to go for the 2019/2020 SSA National Super Sedan Title to be held at the Borderline Speedway in Mount Gambier South Australia from the 6th-8th March 2020.
Barton began racing Super Sedans at his home track in his early twenties and has been a mainstay of the class for many years in his native Western Australia.
After a few years out of the seat Barton purchased a Dominator Chassis with immediate success following.
A fine fourth place finish in the 2017 SSA National Super Sedan Title in Albany was backed up with a sixth place in the following’s year National Super Sedan Title held at Sydney’s Valvoline Raceway.
It has been a big season for Barton and his team with a victory in the annual Shinju Matsuri event in Broome back in September kicking things off before embarking on a big East Coast campaign.
Two Top Ten A Main Results in the Super Sedan Summer Slam in Queensland were followed by a Preliminary A Main Victory at the Grand National down in Hobart.
By the time the team’s Transporter returns back to its Broome base after the National Title, it would have clocked up close to 13,000kms of travel.
