Former two times National Super Sedan Champion Matty Pascoe can not wait for the Speedway Sedans Australia, National Super Sedan Title at the Heartland Raceway, Moama, which commences on Thursday, 18 April 2019 with official practice, with racing on Friday, 19 April 2019 and Saturday, 20 April 2019.
The 41 year old from Willowbank in Queensland and owner of Sweet Chassis, has contested ten titles and on six occasions he has been in the top four, including a first, second, and a third in the last four years.
Pascoe, who started racing as a fifteen year old has never competed at Moama previously, but has crewed at the home of the Nationals for Steve Jordan.
It is a new track for me and with 46 cars, I am really looking forward to catching up with everyone from all over Australia, Pascoe said.
National titles you need to finish every race and maximise points without hurting the car, if you are fixing your car your wasting set up time, he added.
So far this season we have not had a slick track to get the sweet spot in the new car this year, but we are not far away. We have had 4 wins and been on podium every time so far, Pascoe continued.
Matty Pascoe believes there are as many as twenty drivers to beat in the two night event.
Because titles are a one weekend event, if everything goes to plan you will do ok. The object is to try to get the car on pace at practice and finish all the heats as far up the front as possible, and win my third Australian Title, he said.
Pascoe is proud of his product, with sixteen Sweet Chassis in the field of forty six, eight Torsion Bar Cars, and eight Four Bar Cars.
