National Super Sedan Champion Matty Pascoe has romped to his sixth win of the season in round seven of the McCosker Super Sedan Series at Corbet’s Group Gympie Speedway.

Darren Kane was victorious in the opening heat of night aboard the Bob McCosker owned Gen 5 Dominator Chassis.

Brad Pascoe maintained his strong form from the night before to win heat two, and Michael Hally would get the choccies in heat three.

Lachlan Onley got a hard fought win in heat four, crossing the line just half a second clear of Mick Nicola.

Hally would go two for two for the second time at Gympie this season when he won heat five.

Pascoe would greet the chequers for his first win of the night in heat six. Bob McCosker narrowly held off Brad Pascoe to take the win in heat seven.

Onley would get his second win of the evening in the penultimate heat of the night, and Zac Brims would secure maximum points in the final heat of the night.

It would be a Pascoe front row lock out, with Brad set to start the forty lap main event from pole position with Matty on his outside.

Matty would use experience to rally around the outside and into the lead in turn one.

Onley got a great start and would take second from Brad Pascoe on the opening lap.

Onley would fight doggedly with Pascoe, Brims and Hally all his tail making a bid for second place.

Pascoe would make the move out of turn four and take the position down the main straight on lap eleven.

Matty at this stage was out to a three second lead, but Brad would reel him in and would be right on his dads rear bumper at the half way mark of the race.

Brad would get alongside Matty in heavy lap traffic and make a move for the lead.

Matty would fend off the challenge, and move flawlessly through the traffic to restore his lead back to a couple of seconds by lap thirty.

The battle for the final spot on the podium was raging on and Zac Brims would finally complete the pass on Onley with four laps remaining.

Matty Pascoe would go on to greet the chequers for his sixth win of the season.

Brad Pascoe would cross the line second 4.7 seconds behind his father.

Brims would fill the final step on the podium, crossing the line in third. Hally would also get by Onley in the latter stages to finish fourth, with Onley rounding out the top five.
